About the Role

SoftleoAI is looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend development, API creation, system architecture, and scalable application design. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and databases.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and debug complex problems.
  • Contribute to architecture planning and system design.
  • Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.
  • Lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
  • Strong knowledge of one or more Python frameworks (Django / Flask / FastAPI).
  • Proficiency in REST API development and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles.
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub).
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps tools is preferred.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
