Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, ensuring proper labeling and handling of specimens, and maintaining a safe and clean environment in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to collect blood samples.
  • Verify patient identification and ensure accurate labeling of specimens.
  • Prepare samples for laboratory analysis and proper storage or transportation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and workspace.
  • Provide clear instructions and support to patients, ensuring their comfort during procedures.
  • Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards.
  • Record patient information and procedures in the system accurately.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to address patient needs and concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Phlebotomy (CPT) or equivalent.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional medical training is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
