Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OT Technician to join our professional team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operation theatre, assisting our surgical team, and ensuring a sterile and safe environment for our patients. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding our clinic's standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operation theatre for all surgical procedures, including sterilization of instruments and equipment setup.
  • Assist the surgeon and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Monitor and maintain the functionality of all OT equipment.
  • Ensure all surgical supplies are stocked, sterile, and readily available.
  • Clean, disinfect, and restock the operation theatre after each procedure.
  • Adhere to all clinic policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
  • Handle and dispose of medical waste in accordance with established guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Operation Theatre Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an OT Technician, preferably within a plastic surgery, dermatology, or aesthetic clinic.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A professional and empathetic demeanor with a commitment to patient care.
