Shift: No night shift

Location: Egmore, Chennai

Job Description:

• Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, procedures, and hospital processes.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients, especially those dealing with long-term or critical illnesses.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments to ensure timely communication of treatment-related information.
• Explain financial estimates, insurance coverage, and available payment plans when necessary.
• Assist in pre-admission and discharge processes by guiding patients and families through documentation and formalities.
• Follow up with patients to ensure post-treatment continuity and satisfaction.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies on patient rights and dignity.
• Provide support during grief, loss, or end-of-life care, in coordination with the medical team.
• Organize and participate in patient education programs or support groups.
• Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, patient concerns, and follow-up actions.
