About the role:

Detailing & Drawing Preparation of Static Equipment (Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Column & storage Tanks)

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for static equipments like vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, and package equipment. Furnace /fired equipment., using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment, both 2D and 3D.
• Must be able to Prepare Fabrication drawings of Large Storage Tanks and Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns etc. independently.
• Shall have thorough knowledge of Fabrication drawings details in API 650 Storage Tanks and ASME Sec VIII Div. 1 Pressure Vessels and other static equipment.
• Shall have prior experience of working on the Storage Tank plate cutting layout, fabrication drawing including welding details for Floating Roof, Cone Roof, and Dome Roof Storage Tanks.
• Design of storage tanks as per API 650 by using Spreadsheets/ AME Tank.
• Review of GA Drawings, Fabrication Drawings
• Preparations of Mechanical Data sheet
• Preparation of Technical Specifications as per Tender Documents or project specific requirements
• Offer review & Technical Bid Evaluation & Vendor Document review.
• Co-ordination with team

Candidate requirements:

• Candidate must possess Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / ITI with certified course in AutoCAD and 3D modelling software. Solid Edge / Solid Works added in advantage.
• At least 8-10 years working experience in oil & gas industry.
• Must have thorough knowledge of static equipment ranging from vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, and package equipment. Furnace /fired equipment.
• Strong knowledge of more than one relevant Mechanical industry codes/standards (e.g., ASME, DNV, API, AISC etc.) will give advantage for the post. Hands on experience on 3D modelling and drafting.
• Drafting of the Pressure vessel, heat exchangers, columns, reactors, and all other process equipment in 2D drafting software. Drafting of the platform & ladders of structure, dome roof and any other structural members.
• Had a strong technical background in an engineering contracting environment with all aspects of static equipment engineering. The understanding of the technical requirements of the project.
• Estimation of material requirement i.e., bills of material. Must have knowledge of development drawing with cutting layout, Checking of the drawings as per design reports.
• Ability to work in teams with all levels and possess excellent interpersonal, communication/presentation.
• Should have proficiency in AutoCAD. Knowledge in 3D modelling software will be an added advantage.
