KST Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of kitchen stewards, dishwashers, and cleaners.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas are cleaned and sanitized as per standards.
• Allocate tasks and monitor performance of stewarding staff during shifts.
• Maintain inventory and request requisition of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Implement and enforce hygiene, safety, and sanitation policies.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring timely availability of clean equipment.
• Train new stewards in cleaning procedures, chemical usage, and kitchen safety.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas to identify and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with engineering for repair/maintenance of equipment and dishwashing machines.
• Manage waste segregation and disposal as per hotel standards.
• Prepare duty rosters and ensure manpower is available as per operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in stewarding, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
