At TestDel, we are growing rapidly and are seeking a talented Tester/QA professional with expertise in SAP HANA to join our dynamic team. As a vital contributor to our projects, you will report to the Test Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality delivery across all phases of testing.

Role Overview

As an SAP HANA Test Analyst, your primary focus will be on designing, executing, and validating functional and integration test scenarios for SAP HANA applications. You will bring hands-on experience in SAP HANA test execution, defect management, and end-to-end quality assurance in SAP environments. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a POC project and influence future SAP HANA testing approaches at TestDel.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for SAP HANA modules.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing within SAP HANA.
  • Validate ETL processes, data migration, reporting, and analytics to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage by following defined test plans and strategies.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business users to resolve issues.
  • Participate in workshops, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups in Agile environments.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing scenarios and assisting end users.

Defect Management & Reporting

  • Log defects in the defect management tool, track progress, and verify fixes.
  • Provide daily/weekly execution status reports and escalate risks when required.
  • Maintain accurate test documentation, including test scripts, results, and traceability matrices.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience in SAP HANA testing (functional and integration).
  • Strong understanding of SAP data models, ETL processes, and reporting validation.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing cycles, including planning, execution, and sign-off.
  • Proficiency in using defect management and test management tools
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments and integration with upstream/downstream systems.
  • Exposure to automation frameworks for SAP HANA testing (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft).
  • Knowledge of SQL for validating data in HANA database tables.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery models.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
