Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graduate Engineer specializing in Mechanical and Civil Engineering at AVIN Engineering Consultancy, located in Bengaluru. The Graduate Engineer will be responsible for tasks including mechanical engineering, machine design, computer-aided design (CAD), and research and development (R&D). The role also includes project management responsibilities, requiring close collaboration with team members and clients to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications:
Diploma, B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Strong academic background with a focus on engineering fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Calculations: Perform calculations related to pipeline design, including
wall thickness, thermal expansion, buckling, and other related engineering concerns.
Report Preparation: Draft detailed technical reports in Word, documenting
calculations, methodologies, and results for client and internal review.
Design Basis Compliance: Ensure all designs meet the required design basis and
industry standards, working under the guidance of senior engineers.
Collaborative Work: Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, to ensure
comprehensive project development.
Quality Assurance: Review and validate calculations, ensuring accuracy and
adherence to project specifications.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of all calculations,
reports, and design documents.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, standards, and
technologies relevant to pipeline design.
Assist in performing basic structural and stress analysis of components and
assemblies.
Help review engineering drawings and specifications for compliance with
standards.
Evaluate pipe routing, supports, flexibility, and loads.
Analyze stresses caused by thermal expansion, pressure, dead loads.
Prepare and deliver stress reports, calculations, and compliance
documentation.
Prepare simple reports and documentation for review.
Prepare technical reports and recommendations for piping modifications.
Learn industry standards, safety guidelines, and engineering processes.
Participate in team discussions and training sessions to enhance technical
knowledge.
