Role Title: Dynatrace Administrator — On-site (India)

About the Opportunity
Join an experienced engineering and operations team responsible for implementing and operating Dynatrace-based observability across large-scale cloud and hybrid environments. This on-site role focuses on deployment, configuration, automation and operational excellence for Dynatrace to enable rapid incident detection, root-cause analysis and performance optimization.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure and manage Dynatrace OneAgent and ActiveGates across on-prem, cloud and containerized environments to ensure full-stack observability.
  • Design and implement monitoring strategies: RUM, Synthetic checks, service-level metrics, distributed tracing and log ingestion for microservices and monoliths.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, alerting rules, problem detection, and Davis AI configurations to drive reliable incident detection and prioritized alerts.
  • Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines, incident management, logging platforms and third-party tools via REST APIs and automation frameworks.
  • Perform proactive performance analysis and RCA using traces, metrics and logs; recommend tuning, capacity or architecture changes to engineering teams.
  • Manage tenant health: upgrades, user/access controls, licensing, backup/restore and observability best-practice playbooks; provide training and runbooks for developer teams.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven hands-on experience administering Dynatrace in enterprise environments (SaaS or Managed).
  • Strong practical knowledge of OneAgent, ActiveGate and Davis AI configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of APM concepts: RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, distributed tracing, metrics and log management.
  • Experience instrumenting Kubernetes and Docker workloads and integrating observability into cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
  • Linux/Unix system administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell or Python) for automation and operational tasks.
  • Experience automating monitoring via Dynatrace REST APIs, configuration-as-code and CI/CD integrations.

Preferred

  • Dynatrace Professional Certification or equivalent product certifications.
  • Experience with Prometheus/Grafana, centralized logging stacks and AIOps toolchains.
  • Prior exposure to large-scale microservices, performance tuning and capacity planning.
