About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Consultant to join a high-quality clinical team focused on diagnostic PET/CT and SPECT/CT services, radionuclide therapy (including I-131 and theranostics), and integrated care pathways with oncology, endocrinology and cardiology. This on-site role emphasizes accurate reporting, patient-focused therapy planning, radiation safety, and collaboration in tumour boards and multidisciplinary clinics.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and interpret diagnostic PET/CT and SPECT/CT studies, delivering timely, high-quality clinical reports focused on oncologic, cardiologic, and endocrine indications.
  • Plan and administer radionuclide therapies (e.g., I-131, PRRT, PSMA-targeted treatments), including patient selection, dosing strategy, and post-therapy follow-up.
  • Perform dosimetry calculations and optimize therapeutic protocols to maximize efficacy while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Ensure compliance with national radiation safety regulations and institutional QA/QC protocols; maintain documentation and participate in audits.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards, case discussions, and clinical decision-making with referring clinicians.
  • Drive quality improvement: standardize reporting templates, mentor junior physicians/technologists, and support service growth and clinical research initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

  • MBBS with MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent recognized qualification
  • Proven clinical experience in PET/CT and SPECT/CT reporting
  • Hands-on experience with radionuclide therapy planning and administration
  • Competence in dosimetry and therapy dose calculations
  • Working knowledge of radiation safety regulations and institutional QA processes
  • Familiarity with PACS and nuclear medicine reporting systems

Preferred

  • Experience with theranostics programs (e.g., PRRT, PSMA therapies)
  • Prior involvement in multidisciplinary oncology programs and clinical research
  • Exposure to advanced PET tracers and hybrid imaging protocols
