Job Summary:

The HR Counsellor will play a key role in managing human resource activities and providing guidance to students and staff. This position requires a motivated individual who can balance administrative HR responsibilities with counselling duties to ensure a supportive and productive campus environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Functions:

  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and statutory regulations.
  • Support performance appraisal processes and training initiatives.
  • Handle employee engagement, attendance, and leave management systems.
  • Coordinate HR documentation, payroll assistance, and internal communications.

Counselling & Student Support:

  • Provide counselling and guidance to students on academic, personal, and career-related concerns.
  • Organize student welfare and motivation programs in coordination with faculty.
  • Address grievances and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Conduct workshops on soft skills, stress management, and career readiness.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in HR, student counselling, or academic administration (preferably in an educational institution).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with empathy and discretion.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR management tools.
