Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Photographer to join our political campaign team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing impactful photos that effectively communicate the campaign's message and energy. You'll be working closely with our media and communications team to produce high-quality visual content for social media, print, and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capture high-quality photographs during campaign events, rallies, interviews, and promotional activities.
  • Edit and retouch photos for digital and print use using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Ensure consistent visual style and tone across all campaign content.
  • Collaborate with the design and social media team to produce visuals for social media posts using Canva.
  • Manage and maintain photo equipment and ensure timely delivery of edited photos.
  • Apply principles of color theory, exposure, and lighting to achieve the desired visual effect.
  • Organize and archive campaign photos efficiently for quick access.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional photography experience.
  • Must own a DSLR or mirrorless camera and necessary lenses/equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of camera operations, lighting techniques, and exposure theory.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Canva.
  • Good understanding of color theory and image composition.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to travel and cover campaign events as required.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience in political, event, or documentary photography.
  • Creative eye for storytelling through visuals.
  • Passionate about current affairs and political communication.
