Role & responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair:

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical components of packaging machinery, conveyors, sealing machines, labeling equipment, and other production lines.
  • Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing tools and repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, motors, drives, and PLC components.

Installation & Commissioning:

  • Install new electrical systems and machinery in compliance with technical drawings and safety codes.
  • Assist in the setup and calibration of new packaging and processing equipment.

Preventive Maintenance:

  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure reliable operation of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report potential electrical hazards or breakdowns.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure all electrical work meets food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP).
  • Follow plant safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices.

  • Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, drives (VFDs), sensors.

  • Experience with packaging machinery (fillers, sealers, labeling machines, conveyors).
