Overview: The AWS Infrastructure Engineer plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's AWS infrastructure. This position is essential for ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of the AWS environment, enabling efficient operations and the delivery of high-quality services.Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and deploying highly available, scalable, and secure AWS infrastructure solutions
  • Managing and optimizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC
  • Implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting for AWS environments
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes
  • Conducting regular security assessments and implementing remediation strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Providing technical support for AWS infrastructure-related issues and outages
  • Participating in capacity planning and performance optimization activities
  • Documenting AWS infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an AWS Infrastructure Engineer or similar role
  • Deep understanding of AWS services and architectural best practices
  • Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and connectivity issues
  • Knowledge of security best practices for AWS environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Relevant AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
