Production - In - Charge (Grey Iron Foundry)

  • Responsible to follow procedure as per SOP in moulding, melting and core shop departments.
  • Responsible to get the production plan as per schedule and plan to achieve the production.
  • Ensure the availability of raw materials and consumable items required for production activities.
  • Responsible for the production equipment and if any breakdowns co-ordinate with maintenance team up to ready condition.
  • Conduct internal audits and management review meeting
  • Preparation of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 2016 Quality documentation.
  • Follow the corrective action from internal and customer related to production process. v Interact with quality team to resolve if any quality issue in castings.
  • Coordinate production activities and solve if any issues in moulding, melting, core shop and fettling department person.
  • Responsible to reduce the power consumption and casting rejection.
  • Authority to Stop Production and to take corrective action in case of any quality problems related to casting production and maintenance breakdowns.
Ideal Candidate: -
  • DME / BE – Mechanical with 14-18 years' experience in Production in Grey Iron Foundry.
  • Candidate should be in the age bracket of 40 – 45 years
  • Experienced in Grey Iron Foundry production activities.
  • Should be experienced in conducting internal Audits and conducting MRMs.
  • Should have good experience in ISO 9001 – 2015 and IATF 2016 documentation and requirements
  • Should have good experience in resolving production related customer complaints
  • Should have good experience in production planning, raw material requirement
  • Should have very good experience in coordinating production and resolve issues pertaining to moulding, melting, core shop and fettling departments.
  • Should be able to coordinate with maintenance, utilities, inventory functions for smooth production operations.
  • Should have good understanding and expertise of the local language – Tamil.
  • Should be ready to work out of Coimbatore Location.
  • Max budget – 12 LPA
