Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Manager - Accounts and Finance, located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The individual in this role will oversee financial planning, control, and reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include managing accounts, finalizing financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting. The role also involves identifying financial discrepancies and streamlining operations to ensure cost optimization, while leading and mentoring the accounts team to maintain high-performance standards.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounts management, preparation of financial statements, and reconciliation
  • Knowledge of Indian taxation laws, compliance regulations, and audit procedures
  • Leadership and team management skills to guide and develop accounting staff
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities for identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
  • Familiarity with accounting software and advanced Excel
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred; candidates with equivalent qualifications or significant relevant experience are also welcome
  • Effective communication and analytical skills to interact with stakeholders
