You'l lead operational excellence within your team with a focus on reliable execution. You may lead a functional area across the global team. You will be required to work in a shift pattern or non-standard work hours as required. This may include working in shifts/night/after hours and weekend work and public holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the team in diagnosing and resolving complex database issues, often under pressure and with high visibility.
  • Manage escalated customer issues related to databases, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Identify areas to optimize support workflows, tools, and documentation for databases. Develop automated diagnostic tools, knowledge base articles, or training materials.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and SRE teams to provide feedback on product design, identify potential issues, and ensure smooth handoffs for new features or changes.
