We are looking for a skilled and motivated
OT/IT Engineer
with a robust background in
SCADA, HMI, PLC programming
, and integration with
Siemens Edge Devices
and industrial PCs. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in
SCADA and PLC communication protocols

, with the ability to integrate custom-built applications using object-oriented programming languages. This role plays a key part in bridging OT and IT systems in a modern industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Delta, CompactLogix).
  • Integrate PLCs with Siemens Industrial Edge devices, Docker environments, and SCADA systems.
  • Work with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, and Profinet.
  • Connect, validate, and monitor data from sensors, VFDs, HMIs, and machine interfaces.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain applications on Siemens Industrial Edge devices.
  • Support failure signature mapping and application monitoring on edge platforms.
  • Ensure secure OT/IT integration for reliable data flow to enterprise and cloud analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education
    : B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–7 years of hands-on experience in OT/IT roles involving industrial automation and application integration.
  • Proficient in
    PLC programming
    (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.) and using engineering tools like TIA Portal.
  • Experience with
    SCADA/DCS platforms
    (e.g., Siemens WinCC, Ignition, iFIX, Wonderware).
  • Solid knowledge of
    industrial communication protocols
    : Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA/DA, Profinet, Ethernet/IP.
  • Strong
    HMI design
    and user experience skills.
  • Experience in
    object-oriented programming
    using
    C#, Python, or C++
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Docker, Kubernetes
    , or virtualization technologies for edge application deployment.
  • Understanding of
    IIoT architectures
    ,
    cloud interfaces
    , and
    data logging
    strategies.
  • Good communication, teamwork, and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Siemens Certified Professional (TIA Portal, Industrial Edge)
  • OPC UA Certification
  • CCNA Industrial or equivalent networking certification
