Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and core scripting, along with a strong background in IT Asset Management (ITAM), system administration, and automation using Python. This role involves working across multiple domains including configuration management, data science, and statistics, to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ServiceNow Development & Configuration

  2. Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules including Discovery, CMDB, and ITAM.

  3. Implement and optimize workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client/server scripts.

  4. Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

  5. IT Operations & Configuration Management

  6. SupportIT operations through automation and scripting.

  7. Maintainaccurate configuration data and ensure CMDB integrity.

  8. Develop and execute configuration management plans and procedures.

  9. Automation & Scripting

  10. Build automation scripts using Python to streamline IT processes.

  11. Develop tools for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

  12. Data Science & Analytics

  13. Apply statistical and data science techniques to analyze IT operations data.

  14. Create dashboards and reports to support decision-making.

  15. Collaboration & Documentation

  16. Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, data science, and system administration.

  17. Document technical solutions and provide training to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced experience in ServiceNow Development (Discovery, CMDB, scripting).
  • Strong knowledge of ITAM, configuration management, and system administration.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis.
  • Understanding of data science, statistics, and mathematics.
  • Familiarity with information technology and science & research domains.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Developer tools, JSON/XML, and REST APIs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Implementation Specialist.
  • Experience with machine learning or statistical modeling.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and infrastructure automation tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
