Job Description

Job Title: – Geotechnical Design

Experience Level: 4-7 Years

Department: Engineering Design & Research Centre (EDRC) – Geotechnical

Location: Chennai, India

Reporting To: Design Section Head / Design Division Head – Geotechnical

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposing detailed geotechnical investigation plan and interpretation of soil reports and tender documents.
  • Provide geotechnical design and prepare deliverables including GFC drawings, BOQs, and design documents.
  • Design of piling and ground improvement techniques like stone columns, PVD, and compaction techniques.
  • Design of earth retention systems like diaphragm wall, contigious pile, grade slabs, roads, and pavers.
  • Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other services to ensure seamless integration as per project requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: M.E./M.Tech/Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Software Skills: PLAXIS2D & 3D, Geo5, Wallap, CADSpile, AutoCAD.
