Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Software Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software systems with a focus on cloud-based solutions, data architectures, and scalable microservices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Spring Boot, OKTA, Oracle and Postgres databases, AWS and Oracle Cloud, Apache Spark, Scala, and data science principles. This position will require deep technical expertise in both architecture design and data engineering, combined with the ability to drive innovation and ensure system scalability, resiliency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Architecture & Design : Lead the architectural design and development of cloud-native, data-driven applications and microservices that support large-scale, high-performance systems.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure : Architect solutions on AWS and Oracle Cloud, ensuring cost-effective, resilient, and scalable cloud infrastructures.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement infrastructure-as-code practices and automated deployments.

  • Microservices & Spring Boot : Design, implement, and optimize microservices-based architectures using Spring Boot, focusing on modularity, security, and high availability.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM) : Integrate OKTA for managing user identities, authentication, and authorization across the application ecosystem.
  • Data Engineering : Design and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows using Apache Spark and Scala to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Big Data & Data Science : Leverage Apache Spark and Scala to build high-performance data processing workflows that enable data science capabilities.

Work with data scientists to implement machine learning models and data-driven insights. Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience : 12 years in software development with at least 5 years of experience in a Software Architect or Lead Engineer role, focusing on cloud technologies, data architectures, and microservices.
  • Spring Boot & Microservices : Expertise in designing and implementing Spring Boot microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Cloud Expertise : In-depth experience with AWS and Oracle Cloud, including cloud-native application design, deployment, and management.
  • Databases : Extensive experience with Oracle Database and PostgreSQL, including performance optimization, indexing, replication, and high-availability configurations.
  • Data Engineering & Big Data : Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, Scala, and big data technologies for processing large datasets in real-time or batch processing.
  • IAM & Security : Hands-on experience with OKTA for identity management, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) implementations.
