Role & responsibilities

Manage IT infrastructure operations, ensuring availability, scalability, and security of systems.

Manage large IT networks, Linux-based server environments, and hybrid IT setups (on-premise & cloud).

Configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise firewalls, switches, and routers (multi-vendor, not vendor-specific).

Ensure IT policies, processes, and disaster recovery plans compliance.

Oversee IT security, compliance, and risk management practices.

Collaborate with other depts to align IT strategy with organizational goals.

Lead, mentor, and upskill IT team members.

Conduct capacity planning, performance monitoring, and proactive troubleshooting.

Drive IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and network expansions.

Work with internal security team to ensure infra security.

Preferred candidate profile

Atleast 4 years in Linux Systems & Network (with at least 1 years in a leadership/managerial role) Preferably experience in a cyber security company

Strong experience in managing Linux server environments and enterprise network operations.

Hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, routers, and network security (across multiple brands/vendors).

Prior experience leading and managing IT teams.

Education Qualifications Required:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Application or a related field.

Professional certifications preferred: RHCE, CISSP or equivalent will be preferrable, but not mandatory.

Skills Required

Essential:

Strong knowledge of Linux server administration.

Expertise in enterprise network design, monitoring, and management.

Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls and switches (multi-vendor).

IT security best practices and compliance management.

Leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience with DevOps tools and automation.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).

Exposure to SIEM and advanced cybersecurity tools.

Vendor and contract management experience.
