Job Description: Liaison Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Liaison Officer to manage and streamline communication and approvals with various government bodies, statutory authorities, and stakeholders for our ongoing and upcoming projects in Bandra and Borivali. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling complex liaison tasks for at least two large-scale projects and possess strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, permits, and approvals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Government Liaison:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local government bodies, municipal corporations, and other regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure timely approvals for construction, occupancy, and other project-related permits.
  1. Statutory Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements for project execution and operations.
  • Stay updated on amendments to local, state, and national laws affecting real estate development.
  1. Documentation and Approvals:
  • Prepare and submit applications, reports, and documentation required for project clearances.
  • Coordinate with departments such as Town Planning, Environment, Fire Safety, and Revenue for seamless approvals.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as a point of contact for resolving issues between internal teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Facilitate meetings with government officials and stakeholders to expedite project progress.
  1. Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track the progress of approvals and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Prepare regular updates and reports for management on liaison activities and project compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Liaisoning roles, preferably in the real estate or infrastructure industry.
  • Proven experience in managing liaison tasks for at least 2 successfully executed projects in Mumbai, particularly in Bandra and Borivali.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations, development control rules, and environmental clearances.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Established network within government and municipal departments in Mumbai.
  • Familiarity with RERA regulations and building codes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
