Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Urologist to diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical expertise in performing urological surgeries, endoscopic procedures, and providing non-invasive urological care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat urological conditions including kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate issues, male infertility, bladder problems, and cancers of the urinary tract.
• Perform urological surgeries such as TURP, PCNL, ureteroscopy, laparoscopic procedures, and minimally invasive surgeries.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and other tests to form a comprehensive treatment plan.
• Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle modifications or therapies.
• Provide consultation services to other departments and collaborate on multidisciplinary cases.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and preventive care.
• Monitor patient progress, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure post-operative follow-up.
• Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and academic activities if applicable.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, clinical safety guidelines, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

• MCh or DNB in Urology from a recognized medical institution.
• Valid medical registration/license to practice.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and surgically treating urological conditions.
• Excellent communication, surgical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hospital/clinical environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with robotic or laser urological procedures (if applicable).
• Familiarity with mens health issues and andrology.
• Proficiency in using hospital information systems (HIS) and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Research and teaching interest is a plus (for academic hospitals).
