Role Overview
We are seeking an L1 Network Support Engineer to provide first-level technical support for network infrastructure. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving basic network issues to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor network performance and system alerts on a daily basis
Provide first-line support for LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity issues
Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices such as switches, routers, and access points
Log incidents and service requests accurately in the ticketing system
Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for escalation and resolution of complex issues
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance activities
Support end-users with network-related queries and provide timely updates
Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and procedures
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies
- Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- CCNA certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- 0–2 years of experience in networking or IT support
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
