Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Development & Management
-Plan, research, write, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, process workflows, release notes, and FAQs
-Develop content strategy and documentation roadmaps aligned with product release cycles
-Create and maintain internal knowledge bases using version-controlled repositories
-Establish documentation templates, style guides, and standardized processes to ensure consistency across all materials
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Team Management
-Partner with software engineers, architects, and SMEs to ensure technical accuracy and completeness of all documentation
-Conduct structured interviews with product stakeholders to gather requirements and verify technical details
-Work closely with UX/UI teams to understand user journeys and create documentation that supports optimal user experience
-Collaborate with QA teams to validate documentation accuracy through testing and review processes
-Manage and coordinate documentation teams and cross-functional project timelines
Content Creation & Enhancement
-Transform complex technical information into clear, accessible content tailored to specific audience needs
-Develop interactive documentation elements and multimedia content where appropriate
-Edit and proofread content created by technical teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
-Implement feedback loops with end-users to continuously improve documentation effectiveness
-Monitor documentation usage analytics and user feedback to identify areas for enhancement
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices in technical communication
-Ensure all documentation complies with company branding guidelines and maintains consistent tone and voice
Industry Experience
-Previous experience in telecommunications or enterprise software documentation
-Understanding of compliance documentation requirements (SOC 2, ISO standards, GDPR)
-Experience with API documentation frameworks and interactive documentation tools
-Knowledge of documentation automation and continuous integration practices
Specialized Knowledge
-Level 2 and above: Knowledge of Japanese language and culture
