Role Description

At Infosys consulting, we are seeking for data consultants with 3 to 10 years' experience in
Data Management
with a strong background in
Data Governance, Data Quality
, and hands-on experience with market-leading tools and platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, and enabling trusted data for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement
    data governance frameworks
    , policies, and standards.
  • Define and manage
    data quality rules
    , metrics, and monitoring processes.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure
    data stewardship
    and ownership.
  • Conduct
    data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment
    activities.
  • Implement and manage
    metadata management
    and
    data lineage
    solutions.
  • Work with tools such as
    Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Talend, Microsoft Purview
    , or equivalent.
  • Drive
    data cataloging
    and classification efforts across enterprise data assets.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for
    data issue resolution
    and
    root cause analysis
    .
  • Contribute to
    data strategy
    and
    architecture discussions
    .

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–10 years of experience in
    Data Management
    , with a focus on
    Data Governance
    and
    Data Quality
    .
  • Hands-on experience with one or more data governance/data quality tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Talend, Alation, Microsoft Purview).
  • Strong understanding of
    metadata management
    ,
    data lineage
    , and
    data stewardship
    .
  • Experience in
    data profiling
    ,
    cleansing
    , and
    quality monitoring
    .
  • Familiarity with
    regulatory compliance
    requirements and data privacy standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive data initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in data governance or data quality tools/platforms.
  • Exposure to
    Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Exposure to AI/ML and usage in data management.
  • Experience in Life Sciences (Pharma, MedTech).
