Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design hydraulic filter assemblies and components (e.g., filter housings, filter elements) using SolidWorks software.
- Develop precise 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings with appropriate GD&T standards.
- Create, manage, and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) using ERP in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist the Sales team by responding to Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
- Benchmark filter elements and assemblies against industry standards and competitor products.
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and R&D to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
- Assist in prototype development, validation testing, and continuous design improvements.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant hydraulic and filtration standards.
- Support engineering change requests and maintain updated design documentation.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
Experience:
4–6 years of design experience, preferably in hydraulic systems, filtration, or related mechanical products
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SolidWorks CAD (mandatory) & AutoCAD.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 or equivalent standards.
- Experience with BOM creation and maintenance using ERP.
- Familiar with manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
