Required Skills

  • 5+ years of relevant Data engineering experience using Python or Java as tech be well versed into Hadoop
  • Development expertise with 2+ years of experience, in SQL, ETL processes and other similar technologies
  • Skilled in Identifying and optimizing database queries
  • Strong understanding of Algorithms and Data Structures used in data applications
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
  • Strong ability to grasp requirements and designs quickly. Should ask insightful questions to ensure a clear understanding of project goals
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and a good knowledge of DevOps practices
  • Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with open source libraries and softwares – (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka)
  • Experience with SQL/ETL/Pyspark / Hadoop
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) will added advantage
