Staff Solutions Architect (India)

A Brief Overview
The Staff Solutions Architect will be responsible for leading the design and architecture of our software applications across one or more business domain, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and in line with industry best practices. This role demands a deep understanding of software development principles, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional cross domains teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

What you will do

• Architectural Leadership: Design and maintain the architecture of our data and analytics consumption applications facing our internal/external customers, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and adaptable to evolving business needs and meet our functional and non-functional requirements
• Technical Guidance: Provide expert guidance to data and analytics development teams, advising on best practices, code quality, and technology selection.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, subject matter experts within the lines of business, developers, and quality assurance, to align architectural decisions with business requirements. Drive cross domain E2E solutioning, Technical Design.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that the architectural choices result in high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the software architecture and design decisions. Drive current and strategic target state architecture models.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience preferred 

Experience Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years experience in solution development, business analysis, or application development. required 
• Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps 
• Extensive experience in BI Tools, Dimensional Modeling, Semantic Layer technologies, and AWS Services
• Typically 3+ years providing architectural leadership in business intelligence and data consumption applications

Skills and Abilities

• Semantic Layer Design: Strong proficiency in the design of robust semantic layer to enable consistent and simplified data consumption for business users.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement data models that align with business processes and enable intuitive reporting and analysis.
• BI Tool Integration: Strong profieciency in Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and integration with data platforms and/or semantic layer technologies.
• Experience working with Java language as well as scripting languages (Python, YAML). 
• Knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehouse technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) 
• Familiarity with DevOps Practices including CI/CD pipelines and security best practices 
• Understanding of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network and security 
• Understanding of application development methodologies and infrastructure and network architecture 
• Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
