Background and Company Description:
Lincoln Partners Advisors is a subsidiary of Lincoln International, a globally renowned investment bank which serves the leading private equity firms and public and privately held companies around the world. Besides mergers and acquisitions, capital advisory (including debt advisory, growth capital and minority equity and special situations & restructuring services) and private funds advisory, our client also provides valuations, fairness opinions and joint ventures advisory services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lincoln International is seeking Analysts to be an integral part of our rapidly growing Valuations practice. We are looking for candidates with strong cognitive and interpersonal abilities who are motivated to work in a world leading valuations practice on an investment banking platform.
An Analyst position with Lincoln International provides an excellent opportunity for highly motivated individuals to accelerate their professional and personal development, and to become an expert in valuations. The Analyst shall serve as the analytical and organizational anchor for the practice. Responsibilities are likely to be more entrepreneurial than at other firms, providing driven individuals with many opportunities to contribute to a dynamic and growing platform. Successful Analysts are assertive, motivated self-starters with a strong interest in finance and the global capital markets, and desire and potential to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
We envision that the Valuations Analyst will be initially tasked with the following:
•Preparing, completing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial models and sophisticated valuation analyses
• Writing valuation reports and presentations
• Coordinating recurring valuation projects with team members across multiple geographies
• Interacting with clients and preparing deliverables
• Maintaining proprietary valuation databases
• Tracking the capital markets and analyzing any changes within the markets
• Preparing marketing materials for meetings with potential clients
• Supporting the senior members of the Valuations practice

Additional Qualifications:
• Excellent analytical foundation with advanced understanding of financial statements and various valuation methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, etc.)
• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in finance, Accounting or Economics from top tier institution
• Strong academic record
• Proficiency at financial modeling with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong writing skills and experience with PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
• Effective organizational skills and the aptitude to manage people and work products
• Strong communication skills and experience interacting with teammates and clients
• One year of professional experience in valuations, corporate finance, fixed income or accounting is strongly preferred
• CFA Level I is preferred, but not required
