About the Program

About the Team:

The Marketing Diagnostics team at Labcorp drives strategic initiatives to promote Labcorp's diagnostic testing solutions across therapeutic areas. The team focuses on campaign development, digital optimization, and customer engagement to expand access to diagnostics that improve patient outcomes.

Internship Assignment Summary:

Role OverviewThe Insights & Innovation Intern will explore how Labcorp's healthcare provider (HCP) onboarding experience compares to industry peers and identify opportunities for future innovation. This role emphasizes research, benchmarking, and creative ideation — focusing on how emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and personalization can enhance the provider experience.Key Responsibilities

• Conduct competitive benchmarking of HCP onboarding models across peers and leading industries.
• Research emerging technologies (AI, automation, personalization) relevant to onboarding.
• Gather qualitative feedback from HCPs or internal teams to uncover unmet needs.
• Collaborate with other interns to ideate and visualize future-state experience concepts.

Key Deliverables

• Competitive and industry benchmarking report.
• Trend scan on AI and innovation in onboarding.
• "Future-State Experience Vision" summarizing insights and opportunity areas. Concept presentation outlining innovation opportunities and potential impact.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• Pursuing MBA
• Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to connect trends and insights to strategic opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for summarizing research and presenting ideas.
