Role Overview

The Engineer Intern provides support to engineering teams by assisting with research, design, testing, documentation, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with design tasks, technical analyses, and project planning activities.
  • Support the development of engineering drawings, models, and documentation using relevant software tools.
  • Conduct research on materials, components, technologies, or industry standards to support project needs.
  • Participate in testing and validation activities, collecting data, performing measurements, and documenting results.
  • Help prepare technical reports, presentations, and summaries for internal reviews or project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support engineering tasks, procurement activities, or field operations.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts by analyzing test data and proposing improvements.
  • Assist in maintaining project files, documentation systems, and version-controlled records.
  • Observe and learn safety practices, quality standards, and engineering protocols relevant to the industry.
  • Participate in meetings, noting key discussions, and following up on assigned tasks.
  • Provide general project support including scheduling, coordination, and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Continuously learn new tools, techniques, and engineering concepts to improve performance and contribute effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).
  • Strong interest in engineering principles, design processes, and technical problem-solving.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering tools such as CAD software, modeling tools, or data analysis applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, technical drawings, and project requirements.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in team environments.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to new challenges or technologies.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Familiarity with safety practices, laboratory procedures, or field operations is a plus.
  • Proficient with productivity tools for documentation, reporting, and communication.
