Job Summary:

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented SQL Developers to join our engineering

team. The ideal candidate should have strong command over SQL, a good grasp of version

control systems like Git, and experience with SQL formatting and best practices.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in PostgreSQL, Liquibase, and

familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of PL/Python or Python is preferred, though not mandatory. Familiarity with

AI tools and their use within development environments will be an added advantage.

Candidates should be comfortable using at least one SQL development tool such as SQL

Developer, IntelliJ, Eclipse, or VS Code, and should demonstrate the ability to work in a

collaborative Agile environment. Strong communication skills, a passion for learning,

and a team-oriented mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Ensure SQL code adheres to formatting standards and follows best practices.

Implement and manage schema changes using Git and tools like Liquibase as part

of the CI/CD pipeline.

Use PL/Python or Python for automation and data manipulation tasks where

applicable.

Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups), and

actively contribute to team discussions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product

Management.

Stay current with evolving database technologies, AI-driven tools, and development

methodologies

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in SQL and database development principles.

Hands-on experience with any RDBMS, with PostgreSQL preferred.

Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.

Comfortable using one or more SQL development tools (e.g., SQL Developer,

IntelliJ, Eclipse, VS Code)

.Understanding of SQL best practices, including query optimization and formatting

conventions.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and contribute effectively in a team

environment.

Prior exposure to the IT industry or relevant internship/project experience.

Eligibility Criteria:

B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) or MCA graduates:

Prior experience or internships in SQL development preferred.

BCA or B.Sc. (CS/IT) graduates:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.

Those with 6 months to 1 year of experience may be considered for Junior

Developer roles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Liquibase and exposure to CI/CD workflows.

Knowledge of PL/Python or Python preferred.

Exposure to Agile project management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

Interest or experience in AI tools and their use in software development workflows.
