Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Apache Flink, large-scale data pipelines, and real-time streaming systems. The ideal candidate has worked on multi-layer data architectures (Raw Bronze Silver Gold) and is skilled in building scalable ingestion, transformation, and processing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize real-time streaming applications using Apache Flink (DataStream API, SQL, CEP).

  • Develop scalable data ingestion and ETL pipelines across Raw, Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.

  • Work with large-scale datasets, performing transformation, enrichment, and real-time processing.

  • Integrate and manage data pipelines with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.

  • Collaborate on data architecture, best practices, performance tuning, and CI/CD deployment.

  • Ensure data quality, observability, and reliability of streaming and batch workflows.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years IT experience, including 2+ years hands-on Flink.

  • Strong expertise in real-time streaming, event processing, and distributed systems.

  • Proficient in Java/Scala/Python for building Flink applications.

  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL) and performance tuning.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data lake architectures.

  • Good SQL knowledge and experience handling large-scale data movement.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Flink SQL/Table API.

  • Exposure to Spark, Airflow, or Hadoop ecosystem.

  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
