About the job :

We are inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Java Kafka.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java-based microservices development using Kafka and Postgres.

You will also work on Microsoft Access-based database solutions ensuring data normalization and process integrity.

Primary Skills (Must-Have) :

  • Core Java (v1.8 or higher)

  • Spring Boot & Spring Framework (Core, AOP, Batch)

  • Apache Kafka

  • PostgreSQL

Secondary Skills (Good To Have) :

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • CI/CD Tools - CircleCI preferred

  • GitHub - for version control and collaboration

  • Monitoring Tools - Splunk, Grafana

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Postgres.

  • Design, build, and maintain Microsoft Access Databases with proper normalization and referential integrity.

  • Implement and maintain microservices architectures for high-volume applications.

  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.

  • Manage version control with GitHub and contribute to DevOps pipelines with CI/CD tools like CircleCI.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for application development and deployment on cloud-based infrastructure (preferably GCP).

  • Monitor system performance using Splunk and Grafana and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum Educational Qualifications :

  • BE / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SOAP/REST Web Services

  • Familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Struts, JSF

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure, preferably GCP
