Job Title: Store Head/ store incharge

We are a leading electrical hardware manufacturing company seeking an experienced person to manage inventory and procurement of spare parts, machine tools, and consumables at our plant in Dhulagarh.

• Oversee end-to-end store operations, including receipt, storage, and issuance of spares, tools, and consumables.

• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records using ERP/SAP systems.

• Responsible for procurement of store items, spare parts, and consumables in coordination with the purchase team and internal departments.

• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and purchase teams for timely availability of materials.

• Implement inventory control procedures and ensure periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.

• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and identification of all inventory items.

• Conduct supplier follow-ups for timely delivery and quality checks.

• Prepare and present MIS reports for stock movement, consumption trends, and reordering requirements.

• Lead and supervise store staff, ensuring compliance with safety, housekeeping, and audit protocols.

• Optimize storage space and improve material handling efficiency.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in stores and inventory management in a manufacturing industry.

• Strong background in managing and procuring machine tools, spare parts, and consumables.

• Proficient in using ERP/SAP or other inventory management software.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance standards related to store operations.

• Experience in electrical or mechanical manufacturing industries.

• Residing in or open to relocating to Dhulagarh,(Howrah) West Bengal.
