Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Accounts will support and oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, assist in financial reporting, and contribute to budget preparation. The role requires strong expertise in accounting standards, taxation (GST, TDS), reconciliations, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll coordination, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Handle statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and liaise with auditors and consultants.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure audit readiness at all times.
  • Perform vendor payment processing, invoice verification, and credit control.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for intercompany transactions and cost allocations.
  • Utilize ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar) for accurate transaction recording and MIS reporting.
  • Assist in cash flow management, bank liaison, and fund utilization planning.
  • Train and supervise junior accounts staff as needed.

Key Skills Required:

  • Thorough knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Tax Laws, and Compliance
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, or other accounting software
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and team management abilities
  • Experience in handling statutory audits and internal controls

Educational Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
  • CA Inter or equivalent certification is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13, ₹51,759.61 per month
