Job Title - Senior DevOps & Release Infrastructure EngineerRole Overview

We are seeking a proactive, highly skilled DevOps / Release & Infrastructure Engineer to lead our build, deployment, release, and observability automation efforts. This person will own CI/CD pipelines, ensure release management, help enforce security and compliance, and support performance and QA automation needs. This role is critical in bridging operations and development teams and guiding our infrastructure evolution toward best practices and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

· Build, maintain, and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (ADO) and AWS CodeDeploy to support multiple microservice versions and platforms.

· Implement and manage feature-flag / release management tooling (e.g. LaunchDarkly) to control rollout and staged features.

· Integrate static code analysis / code-quality tools such as SonarQube into the CI process.

· Become deeply familiar with our AWS infrastructure and log management systems; ensure that all new development adheres to current security policies and procedures.

· Participate in designing and setting up Kubernetes infrastructure for better scalability and deployment reliability.

· Set up observability for build & deployment workflows (dashboards, metrics, alerting) including database schema change management tools (e.g. Liquibase).

· Collaborate with managed services team and internal ops to set up observability for runtime systems (log monitoring, metrics, etc.).

· Provide operational support for QA automation, helping ensure test infrastructure is robust, reliable, and integrated with CI/CD.

· Support performance testing infrastructure and processes to ensure adequate capacity, scalability, and stress testing.

· Develop tooling, automation, and best practices that enhance developer productivity, streamline release activities, reduce friction, and increase reliability.

· Coordinate with US operations and security teams as well as local/in-India product development teams to align on security, deployment, operations, and compliance expectations and practices.

Required Skills & Experience

· 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure / Release engineering, with strong hands-on exposure to CI/CD, cloud infra, and automation.

· Experience with Azure DevOps and/or AWS CodeDeploy, Docker, Kubernetes.

· Familiarity implementing feature flagging tools (e.g., LaunchDarkly).

· Strong understanding of microservices, versioning strategies, and multi-platform deployments.

· Skilled in integrating code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube) into pipelines.

· Good knowledge of AWS services (IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS / Kubernetes, CloudWatch, etc.) and log management solutions.

· Strong experience with observability tools and practices—building dashboards, alerting, metrics, logs.

· Comfort working with security & compliance: being able to read, understand, and enforce policies & procedures.

· Experience supporting QA automation and performance testing from ops side.

· Excellent communication skills; ability to work cross-regionally with US/AWS teams as well as local teams.

· Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar IaC tools.

· Experience with Release engineering, blue/green deployments or canary deployments.
