We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – SEO to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on experience in SEO strategy, execution, and performance tracking. This role involves improving organic visibility, driving qualified traffic, and delivering measurable growth through best-in-class SEO practices.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement effective SEO strategies aligned with business goals.

Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for growth.

On-Page & Technical SEO:

Optimize website architecture, internal linking, meta tags, schema markup, and site speed.

Collaborate with developers to resolve technical SEO issues (crawl errors, indexing, Core Web Vitals).

Content Optimization:

Work with the content team to optimize landing pages, blogs, and category pages.

Ensure content is aligned with E-E-A-T and Google's Helpful Content Guidelines.

Off-Page SEO:

Build and manage high-quality backlink acquisition strategies.

Monitor toxic links and manage disavow files when necessary.

Analytics & Reporting:

Track, measure, and report performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.

Provide actionable insights to improve rankings, CTR, and conversions.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams (content, product, design, tech) to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.

Stay updated with algorithm updates and recommend proactive measures.

Key Requirements

4–5 years of proven SEO experience, preferably in e-commerce or high-traffic websites.

Strong knowledge of SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and GSC.

In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO.

Hands-on experience with schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and mobile-first indexing.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Strong communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
