Assistant Manager Accounts

The Assistant Manager – Accounts will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the finance team in budgeting and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Monitor cash flow, fund management, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of MIS reports and financial analysis for management review.
- Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal control systems.
- Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy in data entry and reporting.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally ERP / SAP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
Qualification & Experience:
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent.
- 4–8 years of experience in accounting and finance operations.
