The Assistant Manager – Accounts will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the finance team in budgeting and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Monitor cash flow, fund management, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of MIS reports and financial analysis for management review.
  • Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal control systems.
  • Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy in data entry and reporting.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally ERP / SAP / Zoho Books / QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
  • Good communication and team management abilities.

Qualification & Experience:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent.
  • 4–8 years of experience in accounting and finance operations.
