Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute test cases based on software requirements.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs with precision and clarity.
  • Analyze bugs and errors found during tests and collaborate with developers for resolutions.
  • Prioritize defects based on severity and impact.
  • Collaborate with developers to enhance and improve features.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of the defect life cycle and testing concepts.
  • Perform manual testing, reporting, and mobile application testing.
  • Gather, manage, and analyze test data to validate results.
  • Work with databases to validate backend data and queries.
  • Create detailed reports and documentation for test execution and bug tracking.
  • Utilize MS Office and database tools effectively for test reporting and analysis.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 23 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
  • Strong knowledge of testing concepts and defect management processes.
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases.
  • Strong knowledge of databases (SQL queries, data validation, data analysis).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand software requirements in detail and translate them into effective test cases.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Familiarity with automation testing tools (basic exposure).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good collaboration and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to analyze problems logically and propose effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
