Key Responsibilities: ● Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery of goods and services. ● Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. ● Supply Management: Oversee the supply chain processes, ensuring timely procurement of materials and minimizing disruptions. ● Credit Control: Monitor vendor credit terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and managing any credit-related issues. ● Inventory Management: Implement and maintain inventory control measures to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and minimize stockouts. ● Vendor Expertise: Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and new products, providing insights to improve procurement strategies. ● Reporting: Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and inventory levels to senior management.
Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. ● 3-7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a B2B environment. ● Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful vendor negotiations. ● Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. ● Preferably from electrical and Building Industry. ● Knowledge of supply chain , vendor management skills best practices. ● Experience with inventory management systems and processes. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Proficient in [specific software or tools relevant to the role, e.g., ERP systems, Excel].
