PnP Validation Engineer

Exp - 8 to 10 years

· Good knowledge and strong understanding on X86 or ARM architecture.

· Strong understanding of Power/perf features.

· Strong hands-on experience in Linux (preferably Ubuntu or embedded Linux)

· Excellent knowledge of CPU, GPU, and system architectures and their implications on overall system power and performance.

· Basic Scripting skills in Python or C programming.

· Good knowledge on running benchmark tools to measure the performance.

· Basic knowledge of post silicon validation lifecycle with a focus on power & performance data collection and analysis.

· Should have good understanding of low power SOC, Power Management features, C States, P States, Sleep , Idle, Device power states.

· Should be good in platform bringup and connecting configuring DAQs for power measurement.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaboratively work with various cross funtional teams involving post silicon validation lifecycle with a focus on power & performance.

· Should have experience to used NI Daq and power monitors for precise power measurements and analyze the data, Thermal equipment (Chillers)

· Good Windows & Linux operating system fundamentals from power perspective.

· Experience with hardware lab tools, digital oscilloscopes, and other common lab equipment.

· Should have excellent debug capabilities and good technical knowledge to investigate the failures on PnP perspective.
