We are hiring a search engineer with 5 yrs in Solr, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Lucene. Strong in IR, NLP, embeddings, Java/Python, REST, and microservices. Must have experience in profiling, monitoring, and debugging production systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in SOLR, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch or Lucene
  • Solid understanding of information retrieval, ranking, relevance, text processing / NLP, and embeddings
  • Strong software development skills in Java or Python
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations
  • Experience with performance monitoring, profiling, and troubleshooting in production environments

Education/Specific Knowledge

  • Bachelors or above degree in any discipline
