Job Summary

Responsible for planning and designing internal communications network. Plays an important role in the testing and certifying of new hardware, configurations and services prior to deployment to the Company Network. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Operational management of company's infrastructure devices (e.g., Firewalls, IPS, WAF) for Network Security, in line with expected corporate service levels. Some non-exhaustive examples of this operational management include:
  • Responsibility for cabling, VLANs, routing, and firewall rules.
  • Application of network security policies, standards, and best practices based on corporate/group Cybersecurity requirements.
  • Design and implementation of network security technologies aligned with the Cybersecurity function, business strategies, and Group/Corporate strategies.
  • Effective coordination and cooperation with the IT Service Desk to facilitate the resolution of cross-domain incidents/requests.
  • Effectively collaboration with colleagues, internal stakeholders - both al local and group/corporate level - for BAU activities and to identify, implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Passion and enthusiasm for work, curiosity, a strong inclination toward continuous learning, especially in the technological field, with sensitivity to Cyber Security aspects.
  • Good interpersonal skills, a strong team spirit, and a willingness to share professional knowledge with colleagues for group growth.
  • Availability for on-call duty.
  • Degree in scientific/technological subjects (e.g., Computer Science / Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.).
  • Solid proven knowledge of industry standards and leading technologies within the reference sector (e.g., Palo Alto firewall, Checkpoint, WAF, IPS, etc.).
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Any industry certifications will be a plus.
