Role & responsibilities

EDM Machine experience must

Machine Operation & Setup:

  1. Set up and program Wire and/or RAM EDM machines according to specifications and engineering drawings.
  2. Operate EDM machines to manufacture precision components, ensuring efficient and accurate execution.

Quality Control:

  1. Monitor the machining process to ensure the highest quality output and adherence to specifications.
  2. Conduct quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools to confirm compliance with dimensions and tolerances.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  1. Perform routine maintenance on EDM machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues as they arise, which may include contacting manufacturers for service.

Process Optimization:

  1. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and optimize machining processes for efficiency and quality.
  2. Document process parameters and outcomes to facilitate continuous improvement.

Safety & Housekeeping:

  1. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards.

Documentation & Communication:

  1. Keep accurate records of operational processes, production logs, and scrap rates.
  2. Effectively communicate with team members and other departments regarding job requirements, timelines, and issues
