Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and security-focused Manager – SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Security to lead the design, implementation, and governance of SAP security frameworks across enterprise transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP GRC modules, SAP security architecture, and experience with modern SAP platforms such as SAP BTP, SAP IAG, and RISE with SAP.



Responsibilities for Internal Candidates

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the SAP GRC and Security workstream in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, ensuring robust access control, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Design and implement SAP GRC Access Control components including ARA, EAM, ARM, and BRM.
  • Define and manage enterprise-wide SAP security architecture, including role design, user provisioning, and SoD compliance.
  • Oversee integration of SAP GRC with SAP IAG, SAP BTP, and cloud-based identity providers.
  • Collaborate with audit, compliance, and IT security teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements.
  • Manage security testing, remediation, and go-live readiness across project phases.
  • Drive adoption of SAP Activate methodology and ensure alignment with Agile/Hybrid delivery models.
  • Provide leadership in security incident response, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability development and knowledge sharing.
  • Support pre-sales and solutioning activities related to SAP security and GRC services.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10–12 years of SAP experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations in GRC and Security.
  • Deep expertise in SAP GRC Access Control configuration and SAP security architecture.
  • Strong understanding of SoD frameworks, audit compliance, and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
  • Experience with SAP IAG, SAP BTP security, and integration with cloud identity providers (e.g., Azure AD).
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/DevOps practices.

Exposure to RISE with SAP and hybrid cloud security models is a plus



Qualifications for Internal Candidates

Certifications

  • Required: SAP GRC Access Control Certification 
  • Preferred: SAP Security Certification, SAP IAG Certification, CISSP or CISA

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (B.Tech, MCA, etc.)

Soft Skills
