Overview The IT Control Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of the organization's IT systems and processes. This role is essential for maintaining a robust control environment in IT operations, safeguarding sensitive data, and managing risks effectively.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT control policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments of IT controls to identify weaknesses and risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Lead the planning and execution of IT control audits and assessments.
  • Monitor and report on control deficiencies and remediation efforts.
  • Provide guidance and support in implementing security best practices and control initiatives.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of IT control frameworks and governance models.
  • Review and enhance security control measures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on control performance and audit findings.
  • Manage and supervise a team of IT control professionals.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT control, risk management, or compliance.
  • Proven expertise in implementing and managing IT controls and security measures.
  • Strong understanding of audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing control teams.
  • Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, or NIST.
  • Proficiency in using IT control assessment tools and technologies.
