Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in automation

and heavy machinery/electrical industry. The candidate will be responsible for electrical design, panel layout

preparation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).

This role requires proficiency in CAD/E-Plan tools, technical knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to work

independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities


• Maintain and manage inventory for electrical equipment.


• Prepare Electrical CAD and E-Plan drawings with accuracy and clarity.


• Handle maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of SPMs.


• Design and prepare panel layouts.


• Perform wiring of SPMs, including operator and control panels.


• Carry out pneumatic wiring and pipings as per requirements.


• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Required Technical Knowledge and Skills


• Electrical panel layouts and control/ operator panel wiring.


• Sensors and cylinder read switches.


• Pneumatic wiring and associated systems.


• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (hands-on proficiency mandatory).


• Experience with electrical control design, electric panel design, and circuit design for systems with

500–700 Input/Output.


• Proficiency in E-Plan and Microsoft Office applications.


• Knowledge of electrical basic calculations (load, current, wiring, etc.).


• Familiarity with sensors, drives, PLCs, and panel wiring.


• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.


• Analytical and strategic thinking in technical problem-solving.

Qualifications and Experience


• Education: B-Tech in Electronics / Electrical Engineering (mandatory).


• Experience: Minimum 3–4 years in electrical design, panel design, or related automation/electrical roles.

Preferred Qualities


• Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.


• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams in manufacturing and automation projects.


• Capability to work under deadlines and handle individual responsibilities.

Additional Recommendations


• Knowledge of national and international electrical standards (e.g., IEC/IS).


• Awareness of safety compliance in high-voltage and automation environments.
